Built in 1900, the Carlton Building is the oldest building in the central part of downtown Akron. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was the longtime home of Carlton’s Clothes, from which it got its name. The building’s facade was renovated in 2008, giving its Main St. presence a new, modern look.

The Carlton Building’s first floor is home to an open and modern retail space. The large, front windows allow for visibility on Main Street and creates lots of natural light inside the space. Fixtures can be easily moved to adapt the space for parties and other specialty events.

The first-floor build-out features a front retail space, a private space in the back for offices and shipping, and storage available in the basement area.

The building’s second floor has undergone a complete renovation and is the home of Pritt Entertainment Group, a creative agency, specializing in video production, animation, photography, graphic design and live events.

Pritt Entertainment Group’s second floor boasts a wide open floor plan, ideal for collaborative work spaces, lounge areas, private offices, editing suites and conference areas.

In addition to great interior spaces, the 2nd floor has large, west-facing windows, look out of Main St. and Lock 3, offering some of the finest and most picturesque views in the city.

The second floor has been equipped with several amenities, such as lounges, private suites and even a kitchen to make clients and visitors comfortable and relaxed.

The third floor, also occupied by Pritt Entertainment Group, offers a modern video/photo studio space and gear storage.
